Main Activity: Manufacturers & Suppliers of LPG / Propane / Ethylene Oxide / Ammonia / DMA / MMA, Road Tankers and Bulk Storage Installations, ranging from Storage Capacity of 10MT to 900MT, on Fully Turnkey Basis, including Design of Storage Vessels, Unloading Pumps / Unloading Compressors / P & ID / Safety Fittings / Electrification / Instrumentation / PRS Systems / Vaporisers, tailor made to each Customer specific requirements, including all Site works and erection testing and commissioning the entire System supplied by SVTVL, with PESO Approvals & Licensing, of Compressed Liquifiable Gases as above, for Storage + Road Tankers,

Design and Manufacture of High Pressure Gaseous Vessels for Hydrogen / Nitrogen / Oxygen / CO2 / Argon / Air Receivers for Design Pressures ranging from 10 Kg/cm2 – 350 Kg/cm2, Volumes ranging from 10M3 – 225M3. The Raw Material used at SVTVL was SA 515/516 Gr 70, SA 537 Cl1, P460NH, SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L.

The most prestigious Vessels made in 2006 at SVTVL were for the then StatOil Hydro, Oslo, Norway (now Equinor ASA) which comprised of 8 Nos x 12M3 each, of Gaseous Hydrogen at a Design Pressure of 350 Kg/cm2 & Hydrotestested at approximately 500 Kg/cm2. The MOC was of very High Tensile Steel viz P460NH Gr, which had to be sourced from Salzgitter Mill in Germany. S.V. Tank & Vessel Ltd has on Turnkey Basis executed more than 800 Storage Installations on Turnkey Basis, as above, and Manufactured more than 2000 Road Tankers (Pressure Vessels) during its operations, since 1979 – 2015. Pressure Vessels were made under various international Design Codes like ASME SEC VIII Div 1 &2, PD5500, DIN, IS 2825 Cl 1 etc under Global TPIA (Third Party Inspection Agencies) like Bureau Veritas, Lloyds Register, DNV, TUV, EIL, Toyo, Technimont, Samsung and more.

  1. Late Mr. S. P. Bahl from 1979 – 1981 was a key member at CCOE (Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur, India, (now known as PESO viz Petroleum Explosives Safety Organisation since 2016) and by invitation of the then Chief Controller Of Explosives in 1979, Shri Charanjit Lal, was closely involved, for drafting and finalisation of the SMPV (Static & Mobile Pressure Vessel Rules 1981), (Now known as PESO Rules 2016).

  2. Late Mr. S.P. Bahl was a member of 17 ISI (Indian Standards Institution) Committees during his illustrious working career, from 1954 – 2010, including: IS 6044 Part 1 & IS 6044 Part 2, which prior to SMPV Rules 1981, governed the Explosive Pressure Vessels etc of Static Installation & Mobile Tankers.

  3. Mr. Sunil Somprakash Bahl was working with S.V. Tank & Vessel Ltd since 1982, closely associated in its various Departments viz Shopfloor Hands On Production Procedures/QCQA requirements, Client Satisfaction with the Vessels/Installations, as per various Design Codes/On Site Execution till Commissioning. Thereafter Mr. Sunil S. Bahl was promoted to Director in 1985 & Ongoing till Date.
